Customer benefits

The backend application allows SCS to manage their entire logistics operation in an efficient a manner as possible. The system tracks locations of shipments, drivers and vehicles and manages workflows including enforcing business rules. It also allows coordination of logistics information between two different locations that were looking after the same containers. Beforehand, they were communicating via email, phone and MSN constantly to keep their data synchronised. With the new system not only did the synchronisation cut out double handling and errors, it also reduced their phone bills!
