About Mercury1

We were born from the realisation that many IT firms serving small to medium businesses are not providing the kind of service that their clients deserve.

As dot.com fever spread, increasing numbers of people looked at IT and the internet as a means to make money very easily. This resulted in numerous IT service (often web design) companies springing up without the necessary skills or experience to fully satisfy their clients needs.

We believe there is an opportunity for an ethical company capable of providing a first class service, offering intelligent solutions and unbiased advice.

Our goal is to establish relationships of trust with our clients; providing a superior service and competitive pricing.

Our Philosophy

We aim to gain the trust of our clients and work with them towards their goals. We offer honest advice, and regularly turn down work or suggest alternative cheaper options if we feel that what we are asked is not the right technical solution for the customer.

Our background

The company was founded by two senior IT Consultants working in large multinational business, who felt that there was a need for a company offering high-end IT services in a price bracket affordable to small and medium sized business.

The wealth of technical excellence available to large firms is simply out of reach to smaller businesses (£2,000+ a day for a consultant is a bit steep for most of us!). Mercury1 is designed to fill that void.
